The role We are seeking Managers to join our UK Risk & Compliance Consulting Team, based in London and on client sites.
We are looking for candidates with expertise in driving transformation of Risk Operating Models with a view to improve effectiveness and efficiency of how risks are identified, assessed, monitored and managed.
The candidate would be expected to bring in experience in driving programs involving transformation of core operating model components in large and complex organisation(s) across skills and organisation, governance, processes and infrastructure.
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate that they can manage multiple tasks on projects and have the capacity to take on greater responsibilities as they develop within the firm.
They should be of an intellectually curious mindset and interested in continually developing their professional and technical skills.
Required experience Previous exposure to project work, risk functions and regulatory work and be able to understand front-to-back operations as well as the full trade/product life cycle, so that you can translate your findings into tangible solutions Work experience or knowledge of a number of risk areas, including financial and/or non-financial compliance risk management frameworks and risk operating models (Credit Risk, Market Risk, Capital and Liquidity) Experience of change or transformation programmes, including working in an Agile environment, within a large FS firm and/or relevant consulting / advisory experience in Banking and Capital Markets, with involvement in project management and delivery Knowledge of the risk technology vendor landscape (including cloud) would be preferred but not essential Required skills and qualifications Experience working with banking and capital markets clients Ambitious and self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision Demonstrate that you stay abreast of industry and technology developments Have excellent people management, client handling and development skills, including interpersonal sensitivity and influencing skills.
