DGP are the Central-belt Dealers for Mitsubishi & Aislemaster Forklifts, Combilift & Baumann Side-loaders and Kalmar heavy trucks, operating one of the largest, independent rental fleets in Scotland. Our aim is to ensure maximum productivity for your business by providing reliable, properly maintained equipment backed up with excellent personal service. We require an experienced mobile ServiceEngineer, working with our existing customer base and other local engineers.
Key Responsibilities · Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of forklift trucks in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose faults on forklift trucks, using advanced tools and equipment.
· Carry out repairs and replacement of faulty components, including hydraulic and electrical systems, engines, and transmissions.
· Perform pre-delivery inspections and commissioning of new forklift trucks.
· Provide technical support and advice to customers on the safe operation and maintenance of forklift trucks.
· Manage stock levels of spare parts and consumables to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
· Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
· Keep up to date with advances in forklift truck technology and industry trends.
· Represent the company professionally and always provide excellent customer service. Essential Skills and Experience · Clean driving license.
· Experience in similar materials handling, or related plant, operations.
· Self-motivated & reliable.
