Meraki Talent are currently supporting a well known established Fin Tech company within London.

This is a newly created Finance Business Partner role to support business growth.

The role has a bonus attached, great pension, benefits, career progression and hybrid working.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to IFRS15.  Role Responsibilities:

Working with the Business Partners and assisting them with the Month End close, including but not limited to Cost and Revenue analysis and journal review/ preparation.

Assisting the Business Partners with month end processes including the preparation of a flash, full provision of accruals and prepayments, review of headcount and staff costs, and commentary on actuals vs.

Budget/Forecast and Prior year variances.

Manage the Accruals and Prepayments on a monthly basis, working closely with colleagues within the team and stakeholders across the business.

Assisting colleagues with the Forecast and Budget process.

Review existing month end processes for opportunities to automate and improve them.

Work with other members of the team and Group Finance to ensure all controls are fit for purpose with monthly reconciliations and substantiations appropriately, prepared documented and recorded in Oracle.

Assist with the monthly Intercompany reconciliations with counterparts during the month end.

Year-end/Half year reporting, which will include preparation of support for Group additional disclosures and assisting with External Audit requests.

Provide support and analysis to any ad hoc requests from the Head of Finance and the CAO.

Through cross training, be able to provide support to team members.

  Experience / Competencies:

Newly Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with good technical knowledge specifically around IFRS15.

Good Finance systems experience specifically Oracle and OneStream.

SalesForce experience would be a bonus.

Personal organisational skills including multi-tasking, prioritisation and delivery.

Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels of the organisation.

Conscientious, self-motivated, resilient, goal oriented and able to work autonomously with minimal daily supervision whilst also confident enough to ask for help when needed.

Excellent attention to detail, quality and control and understanding the impact the role has on the wider business.

Hands on approach, working and supporting other areas of the team as needed.

Ability to react to changing requirements quickly.

Proven and demonstrated Excel skills.

In-depth knowledge of what a good control environment looks like.

Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
