POSITION SUMMARY As an GeneralManager at Meat The Fish you'll be a front face of the management team, helping the team to bring our brand to life by delivering amazing experiences and playing a key role in leadership of an engaged and talented team.
You will report directly to the Operations Team and work closely with the support team.
You will be assisting in the development of the new restaurant including the planning, organising, managing and delivery of the opening.
This includes overseeing the recruitment and training processes alongside the UK Operations team.
USUAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure exceptional guest experiences by catering to each individual guest need Shift planning and organisation; optimising revenue opportunities and team efficiency Coaching and supporting the team, maintaining a positive people culture Maintaining company standards, to ensure a healthy and safe environment for both guests and staff PROFILE Personal skills and abilities Guest focused with a genuine love for hospitality Inspirational leader, enabling the best from the team Strong work ethic & hands on approach Ability to cope well under pressure Trusted & reliable team player Problem solver Strong organisational and delegation skills Excellent communicator Ideal candidate would have Minimum of 3 years experience in high volume, quality led restaurant Minimum of 2 year experience managing a team above 10 staff members Experience of hiring, training and coaching Understanding of how day to day decisions financially impact business Ability to control costs (labour, GP, expenditure, etc.) and understand operating P&L Only those eligible to work in the UK or have a valid UK work permit/visa will be considered for the above position.
