This HR Consulting Partner role will be responsible for supporting leaders across a range of client groups.
The main function is to develop strong HR consulting partner relationships with business leaders, providing consulting across the full employee lifecycle including workforce planning, business reorganisations, talent management and succession planning, reward, recognition and retention strategies to signposting leaders to the appropriate HR services and resources for their day to day HR operational needs.
In addition, it will involve upskilling leaders in foundational people management responsibilities such as performance and absence management etc.
In this role, you will:
Coach and support leaders through organisational changes and business growth; help them be the leaders which represent WellsFargo's values and who exhibit passion for growth, diversity, inclusion and talent.
Review and analyze moderately complex business challenges that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, assessing and mitigating risks to define pragmatic solutions for the business.
Consult with business leaders by asking the right questions, developing organizational and cultural knowledge, sharing observations, leveraging human capital data and themes relating to specific human resources products and services in order to develop and implement human resources solutions.
In partnership with the international Talent and Performance team, drive an integrated talent management agenda for the business, supporting leaders to identify high potential, develop (incl identification of growth and development opportunities) retain and enable their talent to achieve their full potential.
Support the organisation and leaders in achieving their DE&I objectives.
Partner with Talent Acquisition on executive hires.
Support management of the annual performance and compensation cycle in partnership with Total Reward and senior leaders; to include communication, consistency reviews, calibration sessions, and strategic use of compensation budget aligned to retention, equity, talent identification and succession planning efforts.
Represent the HR consulting function on HR initiatives and projects at regional and/or international level.
Collaborate with peers, SME's and enterprise HR leverage our HR community to proactively improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the International HR function, striving for continuous improvement of HR practices and the employee experience.
Required Qualifications Experience in Human Resources Consulting or Human Resource Strategy, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:
work experience, training, military experience, education An experienced HR generalist covering the full employee lifecycle of activities, leading and delivering in support of the business strategy in an international and matrixed environment, preferably in banking and financial services.
A passion for excellent client support and execution with experience of working with clients in multiple international locations.
Strong coaching and influencing skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels including senior level managers.
A great team player with the ability to work collaboratively and inclusively with colleagues and SMEs to identify solutions for clients.
Demonstrates initiative, independent thinking and an action oriented approach, to determine solutions, in complex and ambiguous situations, whilst assessing risks in the decision making process appropriately and escalating as needed.
Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to build strong working relationships with business leaders and HR colleagues.
Experience in Workday, HR reporting and human capital analysis with an ability to identify and present findings and trends concisely.
Confident style with the sensitivity and discretion to work within a highly complex and highly regulated banking environment.
Cross-cultural sensitivity, with a passion for adding value by embedding effective DE&I practices in all aspects of work and all dealings with clients.
CIPD (or equivalent) qualified or working towards an HR qualification desirable.
