HeadChef Ideal Profile * Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate junior team members * Proven experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment, with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure * Experience working in Rosette awarded kitchens highly desired * Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage kitchen operations and ensure timely delivery of dishes * Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food presentation, and kitchen management * Ability to develop and create innovative and high-quality menus to meet customer demands * Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, management, and suppliers * Calm head and patience to handle unexpected situations and resolve issues calmly and efficiently * Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations in the kitchen HeadChef Responsibilities * Collaborate with the General Manager to develop the team, special events, and menu development * Manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating * Assist with day-to-day kitchen management, coaching, and training of team members to ensure high-quality food preparation * Ensure high food standards are maintained in accordance with the restaurant's policies and procedures * Continually review and refresh the menu seasonally to ensure variety and customer satisfaction * Control costs, monitor GP, manage waste, and monitor performance in all areas of the kitchen to maintain profitability * Conduct regular hygiene audits and ensure compliance with hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety regulations * Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of ingredients and timely delivery * Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies * Develop and maintain strong relationships with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction * Create and implement kitchen policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations By submitting your CV to GingerRecruitmentServices Ltd (GRSL), you are consenting to GRSL providing you with recruitmentservices as an agency defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and authorising GRSL to work seek on your behalf.
