As the HeadChef of TacoTaco, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing thedaily kitchen operations and ensuring the quality and consistency of the food served to customers.
You will need to work closely with the management team to develop menu items and specials that fit within the restaurant's overall concept and brand.
Some specific duties you can expect to have in this role may include:
Menu Development:
Work with the management team to develop and revise menu items and specials that fit within the restaurant's concept and ensure ingredients and supplies are on hand for daily operations.
Budget Management:
Work with the management team to develop and manage the kitchen budget, including food costs, labor costs, and other expenses.
Quality Control:
Taste and evaluate all dishes before they are served to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards for taste, appearance, and quality.
Customer Service:
Work with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless experience for customers, including addressing any customer concerns or complaints related to food quality.
Solid financial acumen, including the ability to manage a budget, along side computer literacy, including a working knowledge of relevant software programs, such as a point-of-sale system and Microsoft Office Business acumen to make sound decisions regarding things like menu prices and kitchen processes Creativity:
Keep up-to-date with food trends and create new and innovative dishes that fit within the restaurant's concept.
