On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a Head of Communications - People and Places for a 6-month contract based hybrid either in London, Edinburgh, Bristol, Halifax with occasional travel to London.

There's a lot going on and clear, compelling communications will help us to deliver great outcomes for our colleagues, customers and communities.
As a Head of Communications, you will be responsible for:
Developing and influencing communications strategies and planning to support a wide range of people activity and change projects.
Acting as a trusted advisor, providing communications counsel, advice and support to senior stakeholders.
Developing strategic solutions to business needs by anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities.
Working closely with subject matter experts within Group Corporate Affairs to lead and oversee integrated communications plans which involve our Media, Public Affairs, Internal and Social teams.
Working as part of a matrix model to build capability in business unit communicators across the People and Places function.
Identifying, mitigating & escalating emerging risks as appropriate to protect the reputation and interests of the Group and colleagues.
Working closely with our Colleague Relations team, who manage our relationships with our recognised Unions.
Leading strategic Corporate Affairs input to projects which have a significant impact internally or externally, managing appropriate resource to meet business needs.
Building and maintaining a high performing team to ensure colleagues are led and developed effectively.
Acting as an advocate for Lloyds Banking Group and a role model for our values, through visible leadership.
Being flexible and adaptable as this role will involve both supporting the Head of Communications and stepping into this role during the summer.
What we require from the candidate:
Experience in Communications both internal and external.
Change mentality - providing strategic advice and guidance.
Have been involved in large scale transformation and change.
Ability to build relations with stakeholders especially external stakeholders.
Must provide cover especially between 19th June to 25th Therefore, candidates are unable to take holidays during this period.
