As the Head of NQP ServiceDelivery and DemandManagement you will play an instrumental role in the oversight of our partnership with Newport Group to ensure the level of service aligns with our expectations and drives client outcomes.
You will lead all aspects of a team responsible for oversight of the operational performance inclusive of service levels, interact with Vanguard’s external clients, and support short - and long-term strategic imperatives to address client feedback.
In this role, you will:
Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew.
Provide guidance and training, as needed, to develop crew.
Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
Lead and develop specialists with proven expertise in oversight of strategic vendors.
Serve as thought leader to develop long-term strategies, improve processes and operations.
Leverage business and supplier landscape intelligence, standard processes, and partnership with shared services partners at the enterprise level.
Lead sophisticated operational challenges, internal and external client engagements, and guide the team on how to handle.
Coordinate operational performance metrics and documented solutions on how to improve performance where vital.
Participate in negotiations as a subject matter expert for the business.
Partner with key internal stakeholders for negotiation activity providing business support.
Collaborate with vendors, and the Senior Leadership team, to understand business objectives, and ensure Vanguard's client's needs are being met.
Collaborate with business leaders to ensure operational impacts are understood and planned for within the demandmanagement pipeline.
Ensure standard processes for vendor oversight are followed.
Develop, refine, and lead tactical and strategic policies and procedures.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
W hat it takes:
Minimum of five years related work experience.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Graduate degree preferred.
