Scotland My client is a multi-purpose venue in Scotland who are seeking a Head of Operations to head up their Events team.
The Head of Operations will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across all events on site and the vision to really to take the venue to the next level.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about leading an exceptional guest experience, with conference and events experience and great commercial acumen.
Key responsibilities:
Overall accountability for the delivery of events Proactively identifying new, innovative revenue streams Drive innovation within the events offering Recruitment, training and development of the event planning and operations teams Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications Strategic planning of the direction of the department Creating a platform for financial growth through cost control Senior stakeholder management Skills and Experience:
Previous experience of delivering major events/projects to deadline Experience of the C&E function within a venue and knowledge of large event sales Excellent client and stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Ability to manage and inspire the team Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt as required A strategic individual with good commercial acumen Previous P&L accountability Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Job Title Head of Operations - Events Salary:
