Permanent, Full-Time We are currently seeking a Head of People to join a leading Education Trust based in the UK.
As the Head of People, you will lead and manage the Trust's HR function, ensuring the provision of an effective and efficient HR service to all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and processes in line with the Trust's strategic objectives and legal requirements.
Provide leadership and support to HR staff across the Trust, ensuring effective and efficient HR services.
Manage employee relations, including advising on disciplinary and grievance issues, conducting investigations, and supporting line managers with performance management.
Manage the Trust's recruitment and selection process, ensuring that it is efficient, effective, and compliant with all relevant legislation.
Support the development and implementation of the Trust's Learning and Development strategy.
Oversee the Trust's performance management processes, ensuring they are robust, effective, and aligned with the Trust's strategic objectives.
Ensure the Trust's HR policies and procedures are compliant with all relevant legislation and best practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree or equivalent qualification in HR, business or a related field.
Significant experience working in an HR management role.
Experience of managing complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Experience of developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and processes.
Experience of leading and managing a team of HR professionals.
Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
