Some supervision and training experience would be useful in assisting with the development of more junior chefs.
A willing and cheerful manner is needed as you will need to work as a team member, in an often busy and stressful environment.
A Customer oriented attitude is essential as many of our chefs have guest contact when serving at the Carvery/Buffet tables.
Essential criteria:
You must be fully qualified to Chef de Partie level, with good standard (3 star +) hotels/restaurants experience.
Some formal chef training (eg.
equivalent to UK City and Guilds 760.1/2 or NVQ 2/3) together with appropriate food hygiene qualifications (eg.
equivalent to UK Basic Food Hygiene Certificate) will be of value.
