You’ll be taking accountability for the programme and project lifecycles to deliver sustainable business and customer outcomes, while making sure all governance, risk, finances, and resources are managed effectively across a range of delivery methodologies.
You’ll be defining the programme, including the preferred methodology, in partnership with various stakeholders and making sure that they’re given appropriate objectives, structures and scope.
In addition, you’ll be preparing or contributing to a financial business case for the programme in accordance with investment portfolio and funding requirements.

Partnering with data and analytics to ensure existing cDNA and CIM solutions are utilised where possible Working with delivery teams and the relevant centres of excellence to make sure the appropriate resources, with the right skills and capabilities to deliver customer value, are assigned to deliver the programme Building, managing, and maintaining a positive working relationship with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises, domains and functions, and leading decision-making in line with business objectives Understanding the impacts that other programmes or domain backlogs may have while managing their dependencies Empowering and leading teams through the project lifecycle with a focus on customer value and coaching project managers and acting as a point of escalation for project managers The skills you'll need We’ll look to you to bring knowledge and experience of programme and portfolio management theories, models, and practices, such as Agile and DevOps environments.
Along with good collaboration and stakeholder management skills, you’ll bring experience of delivering programme management in a technology function, using Agile methodology and its associated toolsets and methodologies, as well as Waterfall methods.
You’ll also need:
An appropriate programme management qualification with a good understanding of data, relationships, and identity A technical background with experience of working with multiple teams and creating One Bank solutions Experience of managing multiple priorities and creating a clear story and valued-driven roadmap Experience of managing and controlling costs to a budget Experience of delivering strategic programmes that support the business strategy and its growth agenda To be a very capable communicator with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly, with good collaboration and stakeholder management skills Jobleads LondonEngland
