The role of MentalHealthSupportWorker is based at our Greenhill House service within central Brighton.
Greenhill House offers accommodation, with and enhanced level of support, to individuals who are experiencing a mentalhealth condition and/or autism spectrum disorder and/or learning disability.
We recognise that when a person may be experiencing a time of difficulty it is important to offer flexibility, dedication, and compassion; therefore, these are the traits that we look for in members of our team.
This MentalHealthSupportWorker role would suit candidates with experience as a Recovery Worker or SupportWorker or an enthusiasm for developing their skills in mentalhealth, neurodiversity, and outreach support.

Essential Skills To be successful in this MentalHealthSupportWorker role, you should have:
an enthusiasm and interest in working within the mentalhealth sector.
excellent verbal and written communication skills.
a willingness to go the extra mile and a flexible approach that respects individual differences.
an ability to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your initiative.

Desirable Skills It would be desirable for you to have had experience of supporting a person(s) with a mentalhealth condition and within an accommodation based setting.
