ManagementAccountant - InvestmentManagement (Hybrid working available) My client is an Investment Manager with a current AUM of approximately $3.5 billion with around 35 staff in London, who are currently looking for a ManagementAccountant to work within the Finance Team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
Key Duties include:
Management Accounting Preparing monthly management accounts - including P&L, balance sheet and other reports Assisting with budgeting and forecasting Maintaining Finance data and accounting controls Preparing ad hoc reports for financial analysis Reconciling accounts and discrepancies Preparing P11d and PSA reports Preparing bi-annual regulatory reports and quarterly VAT returns First point of contact with auditors, liaising and providing them with relevant information Assisting with corporation and LLP tax computations and returns Providing general support to the Head of Finance Any other ad hoc duties AP/AR Processing all invoices and receipts through an accounting system Coding, checking and obtaining authorisation of invoices Processing payment runs including foreign transactions Daily monitoring of bank accounts Credit control and petty cash transactions Dealing with suppliers and accountants and also staff queries Any other ad hoc duties Background Applicants should be a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant Ideally obtained a numerical degree from a reputable university and have a strong academic background At least 4-5 years' experience of working in a Finance/Accounting department Previous financial services industry experience is not essential Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills Experience with Xero is preferred Additionally, they should have advanced knowledge of Excel Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills Professional manner and strong ethical code Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive Commitment to working efficiently and accurately CarnegieConsulting LondonEngland
