Marketing and CommunicationManager We are looking for a Marketing and Communications officer who can help our growing charity reach new audiences and shout about our great work! The post holder will:
Support marketing across a variety of projects, working closely with project managers to meet objectives and promoting awareness and uptake of our service.
Develop a Marketing and Promotions Plan.
Develop and refine our website.
Deliver a clear and consistent brand across all our work.
Raise MEA's profile with key audiences including stakeholders in the public sector & funders.
Generate content and manage social media channels.
Generate newsletter and press release content and liaise with the media.
Person specification:
Have a clear and informative communication style.
Be confident producing a range of media content from online blogs to a village newsletter.
Have a problem-solving, creative and 'can do' approach.
Work effectively with a range of staff, supporting and driving change.
Be a hard worker, managing a busy workload unsupervised, and meeting deadlines.
Have strong IT skills across Microsoft.
Relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent work experience gained either through charitable, public, or business sectors.
Have an understanding of home energy efficiency or be willing to gain a basic understanding of the area and associated funding landscape.
Show a commitment to our core values.
Be based in the Midlands, ideally one of our project areas Shropshire or Derbyshire.
MEA is an independent, Shropshire-based charity with reach across the Midlands.
We have 25 years of experience in helping householders keep warm and well at home.
Training:
On the job training and support will be provided.
There may be opportunities to attend short training courses.
Pay:
£25,910 - £29,308 pro-rata per annum, opportunity for continued progression; optional employer pension of up to 5%; work travel costs paid Location:
