MechanicsTeacherQualiteach is currently working with a SEMH School who is looking for an experienced MechanicsTeacher who can join them on a full time, permanent basis from September.
They are looking for someone who has had previous experience teaching students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health and Behavioural needs.
All the students you will be teaching will be working towards their ABC Level 1 diploma, which will include topics such as Health and Safety, Wheels and Tyres, Exhaust System, Braking System, Introduction to Ignition Systems, Cooling System, Spark and Ignition System, Introduction to Vehicle Valeting, Introduction to Battery and Lighting Systems and Introduction to Engineering Equipment and Materials.
During your lessons you will have 2/3 Teaching Assistant with you, to support the students which anything they are struggling with and manage their behaviour.
The ideal MechanicsTeacher for this role will need to have had previous experience in a similar setting, be able to build a strong rapport and have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.
SEMH School This SEMH School is located in the South London borough of Wandsworth and caters for male students aged between 11-16 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
They currently have 180 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in September 2022, they were awarded 'Good' in all areas.
This school has a small onsite car park and in a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, making it an easy commute from most areas of London.
They also offer an electric car scheme to all permanent staff and free lunches to all staff.
