OperationalTechnologyCybersecurityLead (Fantastic Opportunity, Hybrid Working) 2/3 days a week in the office Up to Salary + Benefits (dependent on experience) Preston or Manchester based Permanent Purpose of the role The primary purpose of the role is to lead the development of and deliver governance, risk and compliance, engineering and incident investigation activities in support of the cyber-physical security strategy, ensuring our electricity network is safe from cyber attacks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar), Computer Science, or similar scientific / technical field is desirable but not essential.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks for ICS/OT environments (ISA-99/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800 - 82, CIS, CAF etc.) Strong understanding of OT network communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, DNP3, CIP, Modbus, OPC, etc.) and industrial networking topologies.
A minimum of three years' experience designing and implementing ICS/OT systems.
OT/ICS cybersecurity relevant accreditations such as GISCP, Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA), ISA/IEC62443 cybersecurity certificates are preferred.
A positive attitude, strong analytic skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams and world-wide peers collaboratively.
Principal responsibilities of the role Plan, design, and implement OT cybersecurity protection solutions.
Lead the development and maintenance of OT System Security Plans.
