We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Pastrychef to work in a beautiful hotel for the summer season.
As Pastrychef you will create the desserts for the restaurants main menu as well as the afternoon teas.
The Place Our client is a stunning family hotel on the Isles of Scilly.
Located on St Mary's Island.
The hotel has two award winning restaurants and 38 bedrooms and is a popular holiday destination from March until October.
The Perks As PastryChef you can expect the following:
basic guaranteed salary of £515 per week Tips paid at the end of the season 40 hr week contract Subsidised live in accommodation ( deducted from wages) Rooms with en-suite two days off per week to enjoy Island live Fantastic summer location Meals on duty The Person The ideal Pastry will have the following:
Be available to commit to the whole season from the beginning of March 2023 - End Oct 2023 Be able to get yourself to Cornwall in order to travel to the Island 2 years pastry experience in a professional kitchen great eye for detail creative skill set Hotel experience advantageous Happy to work on a small Island for the season until October Good working attitude with flexibility to work hours and shifts as required Interviews will be conducted via telephone and ZOOM prior to offers being made C&E Recruitment is a specialist hospitality recruitment agency.
