We have an exciting vacancy for a PeopleAdvisor at Booker Magor DC.
Reporting to the People Partner you will collaborate with the General Manager and site management team as well as the wider Distribution People Team to drive forward the HR strategy, whilst providing a customer focused HR Service that meets the needs of the business and People plan.

Influencing decisions on all aspect of employee relations, ensuring that the risk to the company is minimised and that all policies and procedures are observed.
Forge collaborative relationships with the Trade Unions to ensure a positive and constructive working relationship and support the site in any discussions/negations with Trade unions.
Assist the operational KPIs through effective people management by identifying opportunities to improve service to the customer and the development of solutions to drive continued business performance Providing the site with accurate weekly/period HR KPI reporting and headcount management Manage talent cycle, including identification of training needs, development of training solutions, coaching and completion of PDRs and individual development plans To work alongside site management teams to ensure consistent approach to performance management.
Managing long term absence, occupational health referrals, medical reports, flexible working, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave etc.
Co-ordinate and manage the on boarding process Provide people management advice that does not add additional cost into the business through effective stakeholder management ensuring that all legal obligations are met.
To support a culture of celebration – identifying successes/achievements through a robust reward/recognition process that colleagues want.
Support the health and wellbeing programmes by ensuring managers have the correct skills to support colleagues.
Work with the wider HR team to provide network support where required.
Solid experience in Human Resources or related People field including experience influencing senior management and critical stakeholders and exposure to Trade Unions Ability to prioritise, plan and organise a varied workload, with accuracy in a fast-paced environment CIPD qualified or working towards a professional qualification in People.
