A global Private Equity Fund is looking to appoint a PortfolioAnalyst into its dedicated portfolio team based in Central London.If you’re someone with solid Excel skills and experience with modelling, analysis and data manipulation, coming from either an audit or advisory background - this could be the one for you.
It’s also open to those from fund finance who have had some sort of wider exposure - i.e.
portfolio analytics or valuations.Reporting to an experienced FD and partnering with investor relations and an active front office, effective stakeholder management skills are essential.Key areas of responsibility include:
Undertake extensive analysis across the portfolio and subsequent production of detailed and insightful reportsStandardised and bespoke portfolio modelling for funds and SMAsUndertake market research and ensure notable developments are noted and included in marketing materials for investorsActive business partner to various internal teams, including finance, investor relations and the front office ensuring that communication remains consistentSupport any new deals with necessary analysis and data requestsAct as a middle person between the front office and client facing teamsUndertaking any ad hoc client requestsOngoing project workRequirements include:
Ideally a formal accounting/finance qualification (ACA/CFA are preferred)Level wise - roughly two years of post qualified experience and this can be from any of the following backgrounds:
Funds audit background with extensive model testing - i.e.
