Pre-Contract Bid Manager(Construction)Birmingham £70,000 - £75,000 + progression to Directorship + 31 days holiday + on-site parking + cycle to work scheme Are you a Bid Manager or similar, looking for a new and exciting opportunity to step into a flagship role for a specialist Mechanical and Electrical contractor in a position that will offer you a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, and professional development support to Director level? Do you have Building Services / Construction industry experience, wanting to take direct ownership of the bid process, leading a skilled and dynamic team in winning profitable contracts in line with the business' growth plans? On offer is the opportunity for a Bid Manager to join a rapidly growing business who specialise in the delivery of award-winning Mechanical and Electrical Services to high-profile clients such as Etihad, AIB, and DPD.
You will be responsible for leading the bid process and developing a comprehensive bid delivery programme, in line client specifications.
You will be client-facing, working on exciting projects such as Sports Stadiums, high end Leisure Facilities and Commercial Buildings.
The Role:
Manage the development of bid deliverable programmes.
Oversee estimating activities and produce cost plans and estimates based on benchmarks.
Present bid submissions to clients and then lead post tender processes.
Win profitable contracts in accordance with business growth plans.
The Person:
Experience in a Bid Manager position or similar.
Experience in the Building / Construction industry.
