About you:
Access Managed Services are seeking an experienced and competent ProfessionalServicesEngineer to join our team to provide technical expertise across a range of customer projects.
From Microsoft 365 to LAN and Firewall upgrades or replacements, Software installs to Virtual Desktops deployments you will add to our pool of knowledge and deliver great results for our clients.
As a ProfessionalServicesEngineer, you will report into the Head of ProfessionalServices.
You will deliver projects end-to-end, inclusive of design work, implementation, configuration, testing, documentation and fully supporting the process of acceptance into service.
As a ProfessionalServicesEngineer, you'll be playing a vital role within the Projects department to ensure the successful execution of the Company's business mission through delivery.
You will plan, manage and deploy IT projects, ensuring clients are satisfied and their expectations are met.
You will have strong customer facing skills and will be working across the project lifecycle, onboarding clients, protecting and securing their data and ensuring they are satisfied with everything Access deliver.
Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust.
They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.
Day-to-day, you will:
Provide technical knowledge and input into designing and estimating customer solutions.
Understand customer technology, products, and test requirements to recommend solutions to meet their needs ensuring customer satisfaction.
Design, plan and execute customer deliverables using the technologies specified.
Perform day to day management of assigned projects, managing customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsible for implementing technical solutions, customer migrations, preparation of equipment configurations and validation of configurations for new installations, changes within the network, software upgrades as outlined in the Statement of Work.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
IT project delivery experience.
A strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications.
Experience of administering and supporting the latest Microsoft technologies.
Experience of deploying and maintaining business system networks based on Microsoft technologies.
Working to ITIL standards, this includes Change Management.
You will also need delivery experience of the following key technologies:
Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems (2012R2-2022).
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010-2019.
Microsoft Windows Hyper-V/VMware vSphere and vCentre.
Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and related server roles (IIS/RDS/DFS/NPS).
Microsoft Office 365 (experience of email migrations, InTune deployment, Azure Information Protection and related technologies, Azure AD join, AD Connect, SharePoint Online).
Microsoft Azure IaaS technologies.
Mimecast Implementation.
Backup Technologies Firewall Technologies Switching and routing including VLANs and networking technologies Lease Line installs using Cisco Routers.
Wi-Fi deployments using Cisco Meraki and Plasma Cloud.
