SRG are working very closely with a rapidly growing molecular diagnostics and pathology services company who provide a number of services to a number of growing industries including the private healthcare sector.
They are looking to recruit a QualityOfficer to ensure quality and compliance is maintained.
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with the Head of Quality and key stakeholders within the Laboratory team, around the implementation of quality systems and documentation for all activities as required Assist and support in the implementation and continual management of all regulatory standards as applicable (e.g.
ISO15189, ISO22870 & Care Quality Commission ('CQC')) Conduct internal audits to ensure audit-readiness and participate in external audits Guide laboratory staff and management to ensure that the quality standards defined by UKAS, CQC and other compliance and accreditation bodies are maintained Support with the management of quality documentation and associated quality assurance activities for the laboratories using the electronic Quality Management System (Q-Pulse) Assist in the development and tracking of critical quality processes such as complaints, internal/external audit findings, and non-conforming events & reports within Q-Pulse Support the review and approval of internal quality documents Deliver training on the QMS and QPulse for new and existing employees Support continuous improvement activities to implement new systems and processes which are aligned with the overall quality and business strategy Key skills and experience:
Experience within quality assurance with experience in a regulatory assessment Knowledge of the pathology sector Experience with the implementation and accreditation with ISO15189 and ISO22870 Experience with QMS systems such as QPulse Experience of drafting SOPs, Policies and other quality documents Proven experience with managing multiple projects and assigning priorities.
