Up to £45,000 * * Please note due to the nature of this job a car driver will be required for this role * * My client is a leading innovator within the sports and Leisure industry with a portfolio that includes Racing Venues, Golf Courses, Stadia and Hotels.

They are currently looking for RegionalHeadChef join their leadership team across four of their racecourses within their Southwest Catering and Events Hub.
This role will be based at Chepstow Racecourse but involve regular travel to Bath Racecourse and occasional travel to Ffos Las and Hereford Racecourse The Role:
You will be responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of the culinary offering for all race days.
Working closely with the Regional Catering Manager, you will have responsibility for the development and delivery of non-race day event business, including weddings, proms, concerts, and conferencing.
Working with the regional staffing team, you will recruit, develop, retain a strong kitchen team, and uphold professional relationships with external staffing agencies, ensuring that all agency partners work within the high expectations of the company with regards event delivery You will manage the kitchen staff rota across all sites ensuring that all cost targets are met.
You will be responsible for the implementation and adherence of the company's food safety management system.
As well as all food safety compliance, including ensuring allergen information is displayed correctly and teams are briefed accordingly.
This is a varied role involving operations, logistics, planning and administration with every day being different.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HeadChef with a passion for large scale event catering.
The desirable candidate will have:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a HeadChef in either a leisure, sporting or event-based business, or a minimum 2 years' experience as a Head/Regional/Cluster chef delivering multi-faceted, large scale food strategies at a consistent high standard.
Experience of a variety of cuisines, styles of service and a passion for culinary innovation.
A fantastic forward planner with strong IT and business systems literacy skills.
Experience in taking personal accountability for food safety compliance.
Excellent communicator with a high level of interpersonal skills.
Works well under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail.
High level of interpersonal skills.
Engaging, flexible and friendly in manner.
Ability to take direction, and to work towards and meet deadlines.
Ability to work alone and under own initiative.
Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
Ability to remain calm during periods of high volume or unusual events, whilst remaining driven to complete your tasks.
Able to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Must live within travelling distance of either Bath or Chepstow Racecourse with the ability to travel on occasion to Ffos Las and Hereford Racecourses.
