We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our Blackburn Road service in Great Harwood.
Supporting adults with a diagnosed mental health condition Blackburn Road is purposely small residential service with a homely feel and environment to ensure everyone feels comfortable and at home! Our primary aim is to help individuals improve to a point where they no longer need to stay within our service.
We don’t just focus on self-care and daily living skills, we look at building confidence through the learning of new skills and encouraging the trying out of new hobbies and activities.

As a Support Worker you will:
Build relationships with residents, which are open and two way Support residents to undertake their rehabilitation programme Establish methods of communication with residents, reducing barriers when necessary Assist residents with mealtimes where necessary Support with activities of daily living when needed Communicate any issues to the clinical team Accurately report and/or record work activities ??????? ??????? What you'll have:

A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible for our residents The ability to communicate effectively at all levels Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential ???????We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
