We have commenced our search for an experienced ReservationsManager to form part of the pre-opening team at AC by MarriottGlasgow.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will have a strong focus on the delivery of exceptional guest care in a branded environment as well as the commercial performance of the business.
Ideally experianced in Opera & Marsha ( not essential) you will manage a team of 1 reservations agent and will be responsible for the Groups & individual reservations functions of the hotel, for which part of this will also nclude 1 small meeting room and the management of reservations for this.
The Property The new 245-bed hotel, part of Marriotts Signature brand portfolio, will be located on Glasgows George Street in sight of the citys iconic George Square.
The hotel will form part of a new mixed-use development, to be known as Love Loan, that will also see build-to-rent apartments, small-scale retail and studio space, as well as bar, restaurant and café uses being brought to the north east corner of George Square.
The hotel itself will consist of a beautifully restored A listed building and a sensitive modern extension, fronting directly on to George Street.
The Role As ReservationsManager you will be responsible for managing the reservations team to ensure the hotels achieve maximum revenue through the effective selling of room reservations and other ancillary revenue via the telephone, e-mail or other channels deemed appropriate by the company.
Responsible for utilizing customer service and sales skills to identify guest needs, making accurate reservations which provide the optimal experience for our guests while maximizing revenue potential.
Ensuring information is accurately recorded in appropriate systems and customers are provided with excellent service delivery as determined by the company standards.
Leading, developing and coaching the reservations team to ensure they reach their maximum potential.
Be the guest advocate ensuring all guests' needs from the initial booking to follow up.
