The iconic VermontHotel in NewcastleuponTyne is seeking a RestaurantManager to manage the daily operation.
This is a full-time Permanent position, working 5 days out of 7.
A great personality is key for this role with warmth and the ability to build rapport quickly with staff and guests.
You will also be responsible for implementing the new concept of the hotel's restaurant.

RestaurantManager candidates must possess good knowledge about food and beverage in addition to superior customer relations skills.
We are seeking candidates that have Restaurant Management experience in a busy and high-volume restaurant, as well as a positive and outgoing personality and a can-do attitude The Essential Skills:
Experience as a RestaurantManager in a 4-star hotel or high-end Brasserie / Restaurant Have experience in dealing with large operations (over 100-seat restaurants) and therefore have the right mix between understanding high standards and dealing with high volumes.
Be an excellent motivator with strong leadership skills.
Career-minded and ambitious, with a desire to succeed.
Ability to welcome guests and ensure that they are always satisfied.
Will manage the Front of House team in all aspects of training and daily duties.
Have flair, be self-motivated and creative, and be comfortable with hands-on management.
Have a real sense of passion and pride for the concept and restaurant.
Have a keen eye for detail and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure a consistent level of service.
Being able to communicate well with both the customers and the rest of the team is also incredibly important.
