A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this newly developed 69 bedroom Hotel and Spa.
We are looking for an energetic, hands-on, dynamic, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about hospitality.
As our RestaurantManager, you will be an ambassador for the hotel as well as the team you are leading.
Managing the operations throughout,you will be passionate about delivering world class service to our guests, whilst ensuring standards are maintained and targets are achieved.
Due to the high level of responsibility the ideal candidate will have experience working in a management level role within the luxury hospitality industry preferably with previous Food or Beverage Management experience.
Being a RestaurantManager requires a lot of skill and dedication, so you will have incredible organisational skills and attention to detail, have a hands-on approach, along with stamina and the ability to remain positive and calm when under pressure.
About you:
You will already have experience as a RestaurantManager or similar role within a similar sized 4 or 5 star hotel You'll be motivated by ensuring your department and team consistently delivers an outstanding and memorable guest experience and will enjoy building rapport with guests and colleagues You will have experience of leading diverse teams and will enjoy coaching and developing team members, motivating them to be their best.
You will have excellent hotel system knowledge and experience of training others to use this confidently Knowledge of the Derbyshire would be an advantage but is not essential Most of all, you'll have a professional, organised, charming and friendly approach.
Responsibilities People Direct everyday activity, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive linking up departments to create sense of one team Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments Financial Help prepare the hotels annual budget and the setting of departmental goals Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labour costs Drive promotions that deliver great dining experiences for guests at a good value Make sure credit and financial transactions are handled securely Working with the catering office, identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue Guest Experience Make sure all food and beverage equipment is in operational condition and regularly cleaned Make sure all food and beverage facilities including banquet/convention spaces are clean and properly stocked to anticipated business volume.
Notify engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals.
Help guests with their requests and complaints - making sure you maintain a high level of guest satisfaction Analyse guest insights to identify and meet customer expectations and build on guest loyalty Regularly communicate with guests to ensure expectations are met.
