Today our magnificent Castle has 42 bedrooms and recently undertaken a 3-million-pound development.

The Role:

Management of the Food & Beverage team, ensuring the smooth running of all Restaurant, bars and event operations Work closely with the conference and events team to ensure the success of any functions and weddings To ensure that guests receive an efficient, friendly, consistent, and personalised service from yourself and all members of the team.

Liaise with the kitchen management team for menu content, special customer requests, queries, and feedback Managing and developing a team of 20+ through mentoring, training, guidance, and effective communication Administration of team matters such as performance management, absence management, appraisals, annual leave requests, disciplinary and grievance.

Management of all statutory and company regulations relating to health & safety, hygiene, fire and emergency procedures To ensure the security of all F&B Assets or Hotel assets are maintained at all times To work with the Operations Manager and Human Resources to ensure the management of the team recruitment process.

Analyse key areas of improvement by utilising KPIs and other performance/financial targets.

Carry out duty manager shifts as per the rota.

The Person:

Previous experience of working in a similar role would be preferred, but we will consider applications from exceptional and dynamic restaurant managers looking for their first food & beverage manager role Hold a recognised hotel management qualification Ability to demonstrate leadership skills Hands on, committed and passionate about hospitality and customer service Positive, enthusiastic attitude Strong customer service skills, and an attention to detail and good communication skills Smart and well presented Ability to work well as a member of the team and hotel family Committed to professional excellence
