More about your role As a Roofer you will be expected to provide a high quality and efficient service in roofing, you will be responsible for conducting felt flat roof work, slating tiling sheet lead work, flashing and other associated trades to our domestic housing property portfolio.
This role is required to ensure that all works are carried out on time and within the Group's policies and procedures, about Health & Safety, housing management and maintenance.
We provide a mandatory fall restraint system and training to ensure our roofers are safe when working on ladders and cat ladders, this is in addition to utilising Tower Scaffolds, Easi-Deck Access and also Full Scaffolds when required.
You will form a part of the on-call rota with your colleagues which you will receive an additional payment for participating in and an hourly rate of pay for the duration of any emergency call-out.

The working hours are 40 per week across Monday to Friday.

More about you You will have experience in repairs and fault finding to pitch roofs, felt flat roof works, slating, tiling, sheet lead work and flashings which are all essential.
You should also have a basic level of competency within other trades such as plastering, brick work and some basic joinery would be advantageous.
