Whether you're based in London or prefer to work remotely, this exciting role gives you the opportunity to push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of open-source databases.
As a Senior Rust Engineer, you'll be working on building and improving the world's fastest-growing database, with a focus on distributedsystems and collaborative protocols in Rust, WebAssembly, and TypeScript/JavaScript/ EmberJs.
You'll be responsible for implementing new features, improving performance, and working on the intersection of Operation Transformation and CRDT protocols, all while actively engaging with developers on GitHub, Discord and other platforms.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to our documentation and blog, support the online community, and attend in-person and virtual events.
With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and proven work experience in Rust engineering or database infrastructure, you have the skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
