FiveEducation is looking for an LSA with SEN experience to work one-to-one with a year 6 child who has complex ASC (Autistic spectrum condition) and is working at a reception level.
The student has an EHCP and is mainly non-verbal meaning they need additional support with their learning.
This student does not portray aggressive or violent behaviour.
This role requires someone who is positive, proactive and patient.
This role is offering a salary of £ per day for 2 hours (including holiday pay) and requires candidates to work 13:
30-15:
30, 5 days a week (Mon-Friday).
Alternatively, there is the opportunity to work full time, 8:
30-3:
30, 5 days a week for which this role offers a salary of £80.00 - £85.00.
Responsibilities and duties:
Working with the teacher to help the pupil access the curriculum, including supporting differentiation.
Supporting the student's social and emotional development.
Helping the student learn self-regulation techniques, though a lot of guidance and support will be required Keeping the student engaged with their work Developing a relationship with the students and their caregivers Working with other TAs and support staff Working with challenging behaviour.
Essential Criteria:
A flexible and resourceful approach Strong communication and empathy skills You will be able to demonstrate positive reinforcement Experience of THRIVE or Team Teach would be an advantage but not essential.

30, Mon - Fri Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa) Two recent child-based references and relevant DBS/Police checks The ideal candidate would have at least 6 months of recent teachingassistant or similar experience supporting children or vulnerable adults with SEN.
