Our client, a highly successful, global IT company are looking for an MSSQL SoftwareDeveloper to join their application team.
The MSSQL SoftwareDevelopershould have already gained experience in application design, development, analysis and database support.
This is a developing role in a dynamic sales and IT distribution environment.
This role is remote with the need to go to the Cirencester office once a month.
Responsibilities:
* Involvement in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, thinking end to end.
* Business analysis to be able to identify the most effective solution * Provide expert input into all aspects of the lifecycle from early life through to production support * Be accountable for Detailed Functional & Technical Design * Engineering of Software solutions, including design & code reviews * Understanding the business impact of technical problems * Proactively contribute to the evolution of Software engineering within the Team * Quickly understand problems and provide root cause analysis and resolution * Liaise with internal staff, to provide support & resolution; via the Ticket system Skills and Experience:
* Development in a MSSQL Server environment; including database design and use of SSIS packages & SSRS Reports.
* Functional & Technical Design * Performance and resilience related architecture and design activities * Engineering of IT solutions to meet Business requirements * Experience of stakeholder management & engagement skills, effective at all levels * Have experience in task management & mentoring team members * Excellent communication skills * SAP knowledge is beneficial * Power BI/PowerOn - useful to have, but not essential as training will be given This role is with a genuinely top company that values its people and develops helps to develop careers.
