- 35 hours per week throughout the months of March to beginning of November 2023 This busy hostel caters mainly for school groups during the week and walkers, cyclists, and everyone else at the weekend.
Located in the heart of the stunning Yorkshire Dales, in the beautiful rural village of Malham a short walk from Malham Cove (a rock climbers paradise), Janet's Foss and Gordale Scar all iconic features of this amazing area.
The market town of Settle is 7 miles away and the larger market town of Skipton is a little further at 11 miles away.

What will you be doing as a SeasonalTeamMember? * working on reception, providing information about the hostel and local area * carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties * preparing food in the kitchen * serving food and drinks front of house What Skills and Experience do you need to be a SeasonalTeamMember? We value lived experience just as much as previous skills and knowledge.
We offer a robust induction, ongoing training, and further development, however, some of our roles will have further skills requirements.
It's an advantage but not essential that our teammembers have experience volunteering or working with other people.
Duties vary so good communication skills and basic IT skills are advantageous.
Excellent time keeping is essential.
