We are a JACIE accredited bone marrow transplant centre, including CAR-T cell therapy.
About the position:
We are seeking an experienced Cancer Services pharmacist, who is motivated, proactive and can contribute to the development and growth of the pharmacy departments across HCA at University College Hospital, a private cancer unit specialising in haematological cancers and stem cell transplant.
Provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to inpatients and outpatients, including prescription monitoring, the provision of drug information, medicines reconciliation and patient counselling.
Maintain a supply of prescribed medications to inpatients Clinically verify all systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) prescriptions, ensuring clinically appropriate and legally correct Assist in running the inpatient and outpatient dispensaries Receive and supply controlled drugs in line with policies and regulatory requirements Skills and experience Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Specialist knowledge within haematology and Oncology and prior experience of working within Cancer Services.
Specialist knowledge of aseptic production is desirable HCA LondonEngland
