Senior Management Accountant/ FinancialAccountant Required to join a leadingCommodity Brokers.
Hybrid working on offer.
Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary.
Complex multi-currency consolidations.
Experience of consolidation (including translating entities with different currencies), and statutory reporting (IFRS).
Experience of periodic financial processes (financial close processes, budgeting and forecasting).
Preparation and checking financial statements for reporting.
Analysis of performance (e.g.
variance analysis vs.
budget, written commentary) Detailed analysis and reporting of other financial data and metrics (e.g.
overhead cost analysis, CAPEX, working capital and return on capital, cash flow) Experience of accounting for financial instruments (IAS39/, IFRS13) and consolidation accounting (IFRS10,11,12) (beneficial) Experience required:
Fully qualified Accountant (ACA ,ACCA, CIMA) Sound accounting knowledge (balance sheet structure, core accounting principles, ability to identify and interpret relevant standards) A good understanding of financial principles, processes and controls, and the purpose of financial and management reporting Experience within the Financial Services and/or Commodities industries would be beneficial.
Workday OR other ERP's experience is highly beneficial.
Confident in the use of Excel for manipulating data, with advanced Excel skills (complex formulae:
INDEX-MATCH, VLOOKUP, etc.) My Client is looking to recruit ASAP.
