What it's about Partners Group is seeking an experienced professional with a legal background and a proven track record in running global value add initiatives involving multiple (including senior) stakeholders.
You will own and further develop and institutionalize key processes and procedures at Partners Group's in relation to funds’ lifecycles and, in particular, terminations.
The role would suit someone interested in developing and improving business processes and policies and who can quickly understand the requirements of the relevant internal and external stakeholders and their associated risks based on existing transactional and/or commercial experience.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Managing investment related matters globally across all asset classes as they relate to end-of-life of investment funds to ensure timely wind down in a risk-free manner Owning and becoming the expert and point of escalation for investment related issues in the context of the wind-down of investment funds Reviewing underlying transaction documents to identify any outstanding liabilities and/or assets and designing solutions to address these Further developing, owning and institutionalising PG’s processes and procedures in relation to the wind-down of its funds Defining project requirements and engaging with key stakeholders Mapping key risks, resolving issues, escalating to appropriate parties and coordinating appropriate resources to ensure the timely wind down of funds Providing and preparing inputs and updates to different internal teams and committees (including the executive team and global investment committee), as required Working with other internal teams to ensure timely wind-downs of funds Assisting in training colleagues on investment related issues in the context of fund termination What we expect Strong experience in running value-add projects and initiatives Previous experience in asset management, financial institutions or similar Law degree with legal experience as a qualified lawyer in a law firm or in-house (5+ years) Background in corporate and / or funds law Excellent communication skills Confident presenting information to different audiences with different media Ability to devise efficient solutions to business challenges Strong commercial awareness Proficiency in English What we offer Partners Group is a global financial institution that aims to retain the culture, pace, and agility of a start-up.
