London, UK We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SeniorOperationsSpecialist to join our hedgefund client in London.
As a SeniorOperationsSpecialist, you will play a critical role in managing and executing operational processes across the fund, including trade settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all operational processes across the fund, including trade settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions Ensure timely and accurate trade settlement and reconciliation of all transactions Collaborate with the trading and investment teams to ensure operational support for their activities Manage relationships with prime brokers and custodians to ensure smooth and efficient processes Monitor and manage counterparty risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Work closely with the IT team to optimize and automate operational processes Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to junior team members Continuously improve operational processes and implement best practices Qualifications:
Significant experience in a hedgefundoperations role, with a strong understanding of trade settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions Excellent knowledge of financial instruments and markets, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives Experience managing relationships with prime brokers and custodians Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail Proven track record of implementing process improvements and automation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field We offer a competitive salary, performance-based bonus, and a challenging work environment where you can learn and grow your skills.
