OctaviusInfrastructure Limited is seeking an experienced SeniorQuantitySurveyor to join our Rail division. If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.
In this role you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost management process from initial estimates, through to final accounts.

Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of cost management services on Rail Projects, ensuring that all project objectives are met.
Prepare and submit detailed estimates for tendering purposes, including preparing bill of quantities, schedules of rates, and pricing documents.
Monitor project costs and budgets, providing regular reports to the project team and client as required.
Manage the procurement process for sub-contractors and suppliers, including negotiating prices and terms.
Provide contractual advice and support to the project team, ensuring that all contractual requirements are met.
Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders as required.
Manage and mentor junior members of the team.
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, or equivalent experience. Extensive recurring success in a Quantity Surveying role, working on multiple and large projects.
Knowledge of NEC forms of contract is essential.
Experience working on Rail infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage project budgets and deliver projects within tight cost constraints.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor junior members of the team.
