LangdaleChase Hotel, which sits on the banks of beautiful Lake Windermere, is currently undergoing a full significant refurbishment of the hotel, ready for re-opening in Autumn 2023.

We are now looking to appoint a Senior Reservations Co-ordinator to report to the Head of Reception and manage guest reservations on a day-to-day basis.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the guests that visit our beautiful property, experience the best levels of professionalism and customer service.
Your day to day; Overall responsibility for providing high levels of customer service to guests, companies and agents making reservations by telephone or email Ensuring all enquiries, requests and reservations are dealt with efficiently, demonstrating high standards of welcome and hospitality as detailed in the hotel product plan Entering reservations into the property management system and administer all correspondence to a high standard Provide the liaison with organisers of non-conference group bookings to meet all their specific requirements e.g.
weddings, private dining Contributing towards the overall sales of guest rooms and ancillary spend in order to gain maximum rooms yield and deliver an exceptional guest journey pre-arrival and after departure Working closely with the General Manager, reception team and operations team to ensure accurate accounts are raised and revenue generated Liaising with the Spa Therapists regarding availability of spa treatments Support with the recruitment, selection, and induction process for all reservations team members Who are we looking for? You will be an energetic and dynamic individual who has a minimum of 3-years hands-on experience in the handling of reservations, ideally having worked in a high quality Four-Star or Five-Star hotel.
Ideally you will have previous experience in the supervision of a small team.
You will have strong verbal communication skills, exemplary customer service skills and the ability to work well with others to represent the Company and the hotel in a loyal, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
You will have confident computer and administration skills and previous experience working with Guestline, Travelclick, and EZ Runner would be advantageous.
You will have the flexibility to work hours dependent on workload and seasonal requirements.

We are looking for this role to start beginning of May, where initially you will be based at our sister hotel, North Lakes Hotel & Spa, Penrith.
During this time your travel expenses will be paid for until you will be permanently based at LangdaleChase Hotel upon re-opening.
