Proven leadership, KPI management, sales reports, coaching and development.

Set the standard, raise the bar! Great sector – materials handling, mechanical / moving parts.

Well established client – 40 years in the sector.

They sell directly into automotive, aerospace, engineering, electronics, and retail.

Technical sales.

This is a fully remote / home based position with UK wide travel, managing a north and south team.

There will be fortnightly / monthly sales meetings to attend at HQ.

You will need to be an ambitious and driven individual with a proven track record in sales management.

You must have the ability to motivate, lead and develop a team.


* Experience in the materials handling sector is desirable but not essential, this is about people management
* A proven track record in managing sales teams, set the standard and raise the bar
* Proven track record of successful consultative sales and achieving targets.


* Be an expert in consulting, questioning, and negotiating.


* Proven track record of directing strategy and overall business development.


* Excellent presentation skills able to deliver to stakeholders at every level.


* Ability to communicate and network with people at all levels.


* Excellent proposal writing and thought skills to win new business.

Role Responsibilities:


* Working with the Sales Team, to develop and deliver a sales and marketing strategy in line with business objectives with a special emphasis on quality profitable new business.


* Research and develop new business opportunities.


* To be accountable for monthly and annual sales reporting, together with sales data input to the monthly business forecasting process.


* Work closely in conjunction with Sales and Marketing Director to develop and implement marketing strategies to communicate and roll-out sales stimulation initiatives to support the achievement of short-medium term goals and targets.


* Act as the key liaison between the Sales team and other departments within the business
* Setting or negotiating sale prices to new clients.


* Managing and supporting operational teams in completing tender documents that demonstrate the professional capability of the business.


* Developing credible relationships with key prospective and current clients in line with the company’s sales strategy.


* Creating and driving a realistic sales pipeline.
