6 Months initially Remote/Hy brid
- 1-2 days onsite with remote working.

Inside IR35 My client a top Global company are currently looking to recruit a Service Designer for Buying From & Paying Suppliers to join their team on a contract basis.

Please note if successful you will need to set up via an Umbrella Company/PAYE.

As a Service Designer for Buying From & Paying Suppliers your role will primarily focus on the supplier experience.

You will work alongside the 'Paying Suppliers' workstream Lead and subject matter experts (SMEs), to envision an innovative multi touch-point service experience ecosystem that include people, physical & digital products, and places.

The Service Designer for Buying From & Paying Suppliers will employ a human-centered design process to identify user needs and mindsets.

They will interpret and synthesise human insights and balance them against strategic business, technical and brand inputs.

In addition, they will map existing experience journeys and define new service design blueprints that encompass all user and business processes across all phases of the user journey and its various touchpoints.

The Service Designer for Buying From & Paying Suppliers will articulate solutions through narratives, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and videos in a way that makes sense to senior stakeholders and end users alike.

This is a 'hands-on' role, where you will be expected to 'do the doing'.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the multi-discipline 'Paying Suppliers' team through a human-centered design process for both discovery and/or delivery projects Drive a human-centered design process across all project phases, from framing innovative service opportunities to coordinating service delivery implementation Uncover human needs through research, develop deep insights, generate business, product and service concepts, and envision how people will interact with them Plan, design, facilitate and synthesise co-creation workshops (eg, service ideation sessions, customer journey mapping etc.) Prioritise business, product & service concepts or development backlogs using appropriate strategic frameworks and articulate recommendations and roadmaps Make business, product & service concepts tangible and compelling through visual narratives, protypes and videos Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure alignment to design intent through implementation and deployment Help plan and execute user tests and use data collected to strategically guide the evolution of services and their touchpoints Be the voice of the customer/user throughout the concept design process Plan, oversee and finalise all Service Design deliverables (eg, customer personas, service design blueprints, customer journey maps, insights, and recommendation decks etc.).

Effectively and compellingly present research insights, service, and product concepts & strategies.

Qualifications and skills Extensive Service Design, System Design and Design Strategy experience Hands-on experience designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research
- in either a customer experience (CX), employee experience (EX) or user experience (UX) capacity Experienced facilitator
- with ability to design and deliver hybrid workshops that generate value-add outcomes for stakeholders.

Confident using digital collaboration tools (eg, Mural, Miro) Demonstratable experience applying a human centred design approach (eg, design thinking)
- with ability to confidently teach/coach others Proven experience of working on ambiguous, fast paced, complex programmes/initiatives at an enterprise level
- confidently delivering pieces of work in days, as opposed to weeks/months Programme management and execution skills
- with track record of disciplined delivery Proven record of building stakeholder relationships/partnerships and ability to influence senior leaders (VP level and above) Skilled at working in the detail, whilst simultaneously able to communicate key messages in an effective inspiring and storytelling way.
