Bow Hospitality is recruiting for a talented SousChef to launch a brand new steak restaurant in the heart of Merchant City.

We are a dynamic independent bar and restaurant group with multiple venues across the Greater Glasgow area and are looking to employ a forward thinking and adventurous SousChef.
With the support of the head office team and executive chef, the right candidate will have all the support to succeed in this role.
The Role of the SousChef supporting the head chef with management of the kitchen, covering the head chefs days off and holidays Supporting the head chef in training of staff and implementing company standards Ensuring high quality of product is served at all times and implementing company spec Helping with management offood spends and stock within agreed KPIs.
Ensuring all HACCP and food hygiene procedures are followed and the team is kept up to date with any changes in procedure The right candidate should have Experience working in a high quality steakhouse or fine dining venues Strong people management skills A passion for great local produce and an attention to detail Experience managing a large kitchen team Knowledge and understanding of financials and P&Ls The ability to work under pressure and have good organisational skills.
Candidates should have a minimum of at least 3 years working at cdp level or higher with checkable references.
The salary and benefits package includes:
