We are a looking for 3 x StructuralDesignEngineers with a background in building structures design, with capacity to take on a 1 x StructuralEngineer / 1 x SeniorEngineer / 1 x PrincipalEngineer.
As a StructuralDesignEngineer you will be working on a range of residential, commercial and educational projects and should be able to demonstrate experience in completing structural surveys, inspections and design work on projects in these sectors.
To be suitable for the StructuralDesignEngineer post you must have previous experience working to British Standards and Eurocodes following a Bachelors degree in Civil or StructuralEngineering from a UK based university.
(Candidates with an additional Masters degree in these subjects also from a UK based University would be desirable).
Proficiency in these design standards and an educational background here in the UK are requested in order to comply with UK legislation on the required clients projects, and you must have excellent written technical English with demonstrable experience in producing accurate reports.
Structural Analysis skills in all common design materials is essential, including steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
You will also need proficiency in relevant designengineering software which could include Tekla, TEDDS and Revit in addition to AutoCAD.
Should you get to interview stage for this role there will be a test involving hand calculations, so you will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to perform standard calculations to demonstrate a skill in this area.
In order to be able to attend client meetings and site visits, it is desirable that you have a driving licence and your own vehicle for the role.
