SystemDevelopmentTeamManager Engage is a technology-driven field services provider that conducts over 50,000 visits to people, businesses, and their properties every month across the UK and Ireland.We are currently seeking an experienced SystemDevelopmentTeamManager to lead a team of Developers to support, develop and implement applications and products according to industry best practice guidelines to meet business requirements.
This role is Hybrid with some travel to our Sheffield or Helmshore Offices.
The role will consist of leading a team of developers to maintain various systems across a variety of languages - mainly VBA currently but moving into C# and Blazor for our new system, which is hosted entirely within Azure.
Our systems are database driven using a SQL Server back end.You will incorporate the optimal use of existing system capability, including 3rd party products to propose, design, test and implement the most appropriate field, collections, warrant system processes and procedures to fulfil the business objectives.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
* To manage, lead and develop the team into ensuring a high standard of work is delivered and implemented into the existing systems.

* Translating, co-ordinating and balancing incoming requests; setting achievable and realistic timelines for delivery.
* Gathering, analysis and documentation of user/business requirements and client expectations & shaping the requirements into an appropriate solution * Production and maintenance of formal development documents including technical designs/system test procedures and support procedures.
* Estimation and recording of resource requirements and utilisation for development and support of projects.
* Plan, develop and implement applications and products according to industry best practice guidelines to meet business requirements.
* Support end users of the system during implementation and with queries and problems as they arise.
* Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver a collaborative and considered approach to strategy and system and performance improvements.
About you:
* We are looking for a highly motivated, logical individual with the ability to mentor and manage a team. * Minimum of 2 years' experience as a leader/teammanager. * Proven experience working with stakeholders on projects to ensure successful delivery. * Proven experience with coding languages and databases (VBA/C#/SQL) Benefits:
