TechnicalProjectManager - Chorley - £50K A small and growing financial company, who are at the beginning of a large scale, company wide digital transformation are looking for an experienced ProjectManager (Ideally some exposure to finance / banking or governance) to join as a key player to help drive this transformation.
The role will have a large amount of creative freedom and will suit someone who is keen to take ownership of projects and the Project Management function.
The company have an ambitious 5 year plan in place, with excellent funding and for the right person, this is an outstanding opportunity to make a real difference in an organisation.
Ideal skills / experience:
Solid experience of delivering project management within financial services The ability to understand complex, business-wide challenges and then lead the development of solutions that address these challenges Strong understanding of project lifecycle principles - structured waterfall and agile approaches Strong organisational and planning skills to be able to conceptualise and manage business change Excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to engage, challenge and work collaboratively with colleagues of all levels Prince 2, AgilePM and equivalent accreditations Experience using project tools such as MS Project Excellent understanding and extensive experience of the Financial Services sector.
