Role Overview In this role as the Technical Sales Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical demonstrations, installations, repair, maintenance, and support services.

You will be the key point of contact for clients, answering queries, providing technical advice and demonstrating how to use new products and/or services.

This role is field based with regular travel to assigned team regions for a specified product group or technology.

How you will become part of the bigger picture As part of our team, you will:

• Manage installations and on-site repairs for assigned products • Perform product investigations in order to detect suspected quality issues or problems • Organise customer visits as well as providing a service, maintenance, and customer training • Support the sales team with the design, integration and offering of customer service concepts • Advise and assist the approved service centres with any technical or process issues • Provide minor technical support for the centralised call centre • Provide back up support for other field engineer teams when required • Need to be prepared to travel frequently and occasionally at short notice What you will bring to the picture • 5 years of relevant experience in the field • Excellent understanding of processes, technologies, products or other relevant field of expertise • Effective utilisation of recognised planning, analytical or conceptual principles and techniques • Ability to understand and apply principles of effective project management • Clear understanding of the impact of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business • Enthusiasm and keenness to keep up to date with the latest products and technology • Excellent listening and communication skills • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and understand their needs • Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose action plans and projects as appropriate What would give you the edge • A positive mindset with a proactive approach in adapting to changing business demands • A high degree of judgment and problem-solving capability • A self-starter with good organisation skills and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines • Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure • High self-motivation, optimism and determination to succeed What does our big picture look like?
