With access to the latest equipment our expert surgeons can continue to provide the most advanced diagnostic procedures and surgical techniques.
The latest addition to the hospital is our newly installed da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system designed to provide surgeons with greater flexibility and precision across a wide range of minimally-invasive surgical procedures.
Training will be provided including online, leading to accredited certification.The Role To ensure that professional and national standards are met in accordance to the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Health Professions Council (HPC) and HCA’s Code of Conduct.To provide clinical leadership and support colleagues to plan, monitor and evaluate skilled and appropriate care for patients undergoing different forms of surgery to ensure the provision of evidence-based care.Prepare the recovery room according to National standards and guidelines, providing individualised evidence-based care to patients following surgery.To provide skilled assistance in the anaesthetic and recovery room.To work as part of a team, providing clinical leadership, supporting and developing colleagues by mentoring and assessing their skills.Skills & ExperienceOperating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualifiedPost graduate experience in TheatresAnaesthetics courseALS trained - desirableCurrent HCPC/NMC Registration Why HCA UK?We believe healthcare is built on a foundation of inclusion, compassion and respect for our patients and for each other.
