Is this the role for you? Working within the Global VideoEngineering team to Design, Document, Install, Commission and Test virtualized IP-based video origination and distribution systems and related sub-systems for linear and streaming delivery via satellite and terrestrial fibre.
What will you be doing? Responsible for fulfilment of assigned tasks, including, installation, configuration and commissioning of video hardware and software applications in a fast-paced global media organization.
Receives direction and assignments from Senior Director, VideoEngineering, collaborates with team members and in-house technical support teams to perform system acceptance testing and training.

Escalates project blockers within Agile framework to resolve issues and move projects forward.
Experience and Education:
? Typical candidate possesses years of relevant experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent.
Industry certifications in video, networking and cloud is a plus.
What are we looking for? Key Technical Expertise:
An understanding of video and audio encoding, transport and monitoring.
An understanding of core IT technologies - DNS, AD, SNMP, Windows, Linux.
An understanding of network principles and topologies, switches, routers, TCP/IP, VLANS, Firewalls, Multicast.
An understanding of IT COTS infrastructure, (server systems, network storage, security) Demonstrates ability to perform technical analysis, exercise judgment and communicate with clarity.
Desirable Technical Expertise:
Experience working with ‘markup languages’ (XML, JSON, etc) and working with API’s.
Experience processing/manipulating data using a language such as python or platforms such as Alteryx.
Mulesoft.
Some knowledge in baseband HD/SD video, compressed video/audio encoding, IP transport stream distribution, in-band, and out-of-band metadata payloads.
Familiar with broadcast standards, and typical measurements.
Experience working with Broadcast monitoring and control systems.
Ideally working with Skylines’ Dataminer platform.
Demonstrates experience in the design, build, and commissioning of technical systems for broadcast playout, video distribution via IP and live streaming.
Familiar with Agile project management tools and techniques such as SCRUM and JIRA.
Experience working with cloud-based systems (AWS in particular) Paramount LondonEngland
